3D Welding Platform Accuracy Inspection Method

The accuracy inspection method for 3D welding platforms is based on the inspection process for cast iron platforms. Measurements are taken based on the platform's length, width, diagonal, and edge distances. Each span is 500mm, and the number of spans is determined by the side length. Substituting this data into a metrological formula yields the accuracy value of the platform's working surface. While 3D welding platforms are not actually high-precision inspection platforms, the accuracy of some welded products is far lower than that of machine-processed products. Therefore, many experienced workshop workers have their own inspection methods, which, although not formal, can still determine the range of longitude error. Here, we briefly discuss some inspection techniques to help users. One method is the straightedge inspection method: Place the 3D welding platform parallel to the surface, place the inspection straightedge flat on the worktable, and use a feeler gauge to check the gap between the straightedge and the working surface of the 3D welding platform. This feeler gauge inspection method is also a good method for accuracy testing.
