The standard hole spacing(center‑to‑center)for modular welding tables is 50 mm(2 in)and 100 mm(4 in). These are the two most common grid patterns used globally.
Metric Standard(Europe/Asia)
100 mm×100 mm grid(most common for heavy‑duty,industrial systems)
Hole diameter:28 mm(D28 system)
Used on large,high‑capacity tables
50 mm×50 mm grid(for precision,small‑part fixturing)
Hole diameter:16 mm(D16 system)
Higher density for finer positioning
Imperial Standard(North America)
2 in×2 in(50.8 mm)grid
Hole diameter:5/8 in(≈15.9 mm)
Equivalent to the metric 50 mm system
Key Notes
The 100 mm(4 in)spacing is often called the universal standard for modular welding tables.
Spacing is always center‑to‑center,not edge‑to‑edge.
Tables are designed so accessories(locating pins, clamps, blocks)are interchangeable across brands using the same grid.
