Auxiliary heat treatment measures for 3D welding platforms:
1.Aging treatment.To further improve dimensional stability,after quenching and tempering,an aging treatment at 120–150℃for 24–36 hours is performed.This removes residual internal stresses in the 3D welding platform,increasing dimensional stability without reducing its hardness.In summary,the heat treatment of 3D welding platforms,in addition to the normal heat treatment for hypereutectoid steel,requires three additional heat treatment processes:tempering before quenching,cold treatment between normal quenching,and aging treatment after normal heat treatment.
2.Quenching and low-temperature tempering.3D welding platforms are hypereutectoid steel.Typically,incomplete quenching followed by low-temperature tempering is used.Under the premise of determining the hardness,the quenching temperature is minimized and preheating is performed to reduce the temperature difference and quenching stress during heating and cooling.
3.Cold treatment.High-precision 3D welding platforms require cold treatment after quenching to reduce the amount of retained austenite,thereby increasing dimensional stability.Cold treatment is generally performed at-70 to-80℃and immediately after quenching and cooling to room temperature to prevent the aging and stabilization of residual austenite.
IV.Tempering treatment aims to obtain tempered sorbite structure,reducing quenching deformation and improving the surface finish of the 3D welding platform.
During normal use,especially in humid weather,particularly in southern regions,the 3D welding platform should be protected with a cover.Otherwise,impurities or acidic gases in the air will accelerate the aging of the platform.In normal engineering applications,if the 3D welding platform itself is of substandard quality,it is particularly prone to rusting after exposure to air and moisture.
